Hazelnut sponge cake

If you fancy a rich and original cake, nothing better than making the hazelnut cake, an easy recipe and a sweet ideal to enjoy in the snack.

The ingredients 300 grams of flour, 4 eggs, 150 grams of butter, 1 and a half cups of milk, 200 grams of peeled and toasted hazelnuts, 250 grams of sugar, 1 sachet of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and ½ teaspoon of vanilla sugar

The preparation Grease a cake mold with a tablespoon of butter and sprinkle a tablespoon of flour, spreading it well. Melt the rest of the butter in the water bath and let it cool. Beat the eggs with the sugar until you see that they are whitish and creamy, then add the previously chopped hazelnuts, the melted butter, the oil, the milk, the flour mixed with the yeast and sifted and finally the vanilla sugar.

Mix the whole set until you get a homogeneous cream, pour this cream into the mold you prepared and bake in the preheated oven at 180º C for 40 minutes or until you see the dough cooked, help yourself with the stick test.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding and serving.

Tasting It is a rich cake, try varying combinations, add a little cocoa powder, a liquor, etc. Each result provides an original and surprising flavor. Take advantage!
